Lucia is the founder of Blue Religion. Lucias’s ideas and insights are what formed the vision Blue Religion. She is a professional diver, animal behaviour specialist, underwater photographer and passionate ocean conservationist. Lucia is focusing on shark conservation part of our organisation and she is the main expedition guide.
Nikol is a heartfelt animal lover and conservationist. Her enthusiasm inspires others and helps drive the success of our expeditions and conservation events. Nikol is also the one who focuses on our numbers and finances. She balances our income from the expeditions and expenditures on the conservation activities. Thanks to her abilities and dedication we can achieve Blue Religion’s long-term objectives in helping our nature.

Dr. Juan Fernando Márquez Farías
is our esteemed mentor and shark specialist from FACIMAR (Facultad de Ciencias del Mar), Autonomous University of Sinaloa. His invaluable expertise and scholarly guidance is indispensable for the success of project AMOARA.
Dr. Oscar Zamora
is our data analysis expert from SIRBAA Data. His expertise helps us translate raw data into actionable insights, crucial for understanding and protecting shark nurseries.
Antonio Tiscareño Lara
a beloved local teacher and boat captain. His deep connection to the community and invaluable knowledge make him our vital link to the San Blas area. Without Toni, our mission wouldn’t be possible!
Angela Francess Warior
is a marine biologist specializing in sharks. In Project AMOARA, she plays a crucial role thanks to her extensive knowledge and her incredible ability to connect with children. She organizes engaging workshops and works closely with the local community.

Bernardo is a person who is in charge of organizing our events. Bernardo is great at motivating people to do conservation and learn more about the importance of nature. Over 2000 volunteers went to Bernardo's events over the last 4 years. Bernardo also created an education program about different types of plastic and their recycling abilities.
